Announcement from Atomic Minerals Corp. –

VANCOUVER, BC /ACCESSWIRE/April 19, 2022 / Atomic Minerals Society (“ATOMIC MINERALS” or the “Company”) (TSXV: ATOM) is pleased to announce the launch of a high-resolution airborne magnetic survey (“Airborne Survey”) at its 6,556 ha Lloyd Lake uranium project (“Lloyd Lake Project”), located in the prolific Athabasca Basin near the village of La Loche, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Clive Massey Atomic Minerals, CEO and Chairman, commented We are pleased to have commenced the aerial survey over Lloyd’s Lake, tracking a complex network of underground conductors coincident with surface radiometric anomalies discovered during historical exploration programs. We expect the magnetism to help refine drill targets in the conductors for an initial drill program later this summer.

KBM Resource Group (“KBM”) of Thunder Bay, Ontario was contracted to conduct a 684 line km fixed-wing magnetic survey over the Lloyd Lake project. The Company anticipates that the airborne magnetic surveys will help identify faults and folds thought to be associated with other important markers of uranium mineralization, including underground conductors and radiometric anomalies.

About the Lloyd’s Lake Project
The Lloyd Lake project is located immediately south of the western Athabasca basin, approximately 90 km SE of the Patterson Lake Fission Uranium project. Lloyd Lake was extensively explored by Western Athabasca Syndicate in 2013 as part of the Preston property, generating an extensive data set, which includes: airborne EM-magnetic and radiometric surveys, follow-up prospecting, systematic sediment sampling from lake bottom and lake bottom waters. sampling for radon gas analysis and extensive soil, biogeochemical and soil radon surveys, typically at 100m to 200m sampling spacing and 200m to 400m line spacing . Radon gas is a decay product of uranium with abnormal concentrations indicative of potential occurrences of uranium. Subsequent exploration focused on anomalous areas identified by previous surveys and included mapping and prospecting phases, a general-purpose time-domain electromagnetic (VTEM plus) and aeromagnetic survey and a radiometric-VLF-EM survey and airborne magnetic. The Atomics technical team is compiling and reviewing the various datasets to generate targets for future exploration.
